about

Jessie
Trinchera Peak. August 1998.This site was named in honor of my first dog, an amazing Border Collie, Jessie. She was tireless and the most intelligent dog I have ever known. Jessie did her best to keep me out of trouble and always knew the way home. If not for her, there’s a good chance I would not be alive today. Jessie died on February 14, 2007. She was almost 16 years old. She was playing ball and demonstrating her intelligence even in the last 24 hours of her life. Rest well my dear friend.

Bonnie
Bonnie. February 2005.Bonnie was born in 2004. She was too rambunctious for her first family and they sent her off to prison at 16 weeks. It is all a matter of perspective I guess. When she was 7 months old she came to live with us and has always been the “calm” dog in the family. She is the most affectionate dog I have known and can never get enough hugs. She’s a BC/Spaniel mix and most importantly, she also has fourwhitefeet!

Jessie is the mascot in the bottom right corner of the site. Look for more photos and stories about Jessie and Bonnie in the “dogs” category.
