I did this race last year. It was the first competition I had entered since a mountain bike race at Ojo Caliente, NM, in 1997. The plan was to see if I’ve gotten any faster, but I wasn’t able to enter because of injuries. Anyone else run this?

Salida, CO. I’ve had this on my calendar since last year. At that time marathon distance was a little beyond me. I am going to miss 2007 due to injuries. It would be great to hear from other runners who have done this race.
