I volunteered at the 25mi/50mi event of the Spring Desert Ultra, near Fruita, CO, yesterday. I started the day at Pizza Overlook Aid Station and spent the last half at the finish line. It was fun to be out and fill a few water bottles and cheer for the runners. I didn’t get a chance to take photos of runners. The two below are from the Pizza Overlook AS. Weather was cool with some drizzle in the morning and early afternoon, which was nice for the runners. The sun came out late afternoon and evening and warmed things up a bit which was nice for their fans.
