Jason Lane and Claudio Clarindo rolling up Cuchara Pass this morning. Jason looks pretty good for a guy that got hit by a car in Arizona a couple of days ago.
Sorry for my hand covering part of the lens while Claudio rides by.

Here’s a video of Kurt Searvogel (Tarzan Rides) about 2 miles from the summit of Cuchara Pass this morning. It was good to see Kurt happily pedaling up the mountain and meet some of his crew!
Here’s a short video of Joan Deitchman climbing Cuchara Pass last night. There sure is a lot of energy in that pedal stroke! Especially for someone who’s ridden more than 1075 miles in 4 days.
Janet Christiansen was a few minutes behind Joan. Unfortunately, the video of her was out-of-focus.
Both women passed through TS20, Trinidad, CO, 1131 miles, early this morning. Trix Zgraggen, on a blazing pace, is still in the lead. She checked into TS25, Greenburg, KS, 1441 miles, about 2 hours ago, at 9:29 race time (EDT).
I hope no one was holding their breath waiting for a blog post from me. If so, I guess we won’t need to worry about them anymore. : ) RAAM is coming through for the next few days. Here are a few photos of T204 Beau & Babe and a short video of Gerhard Gulewicz from this morning.
